Task & responsibilities

Operations & Team Leadership:

• Lead F&B team, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Oversee venue setup/packdown, efficient rostering, and POS systems.
• Manage equipment sourcing and system implementation.

Events & Functions:

• Collaborate with event teams to drive profitable, well-organized events.
• Build relationships with organizers and contractors to boost repeat business.
• Identify revenue growth opportunities and maintain brand consistency.

Venue Management:

• Oversee daily operations, including security, OH&S, and supplier coordination.
• Maintain legal compliance (RSA, licenses) and customer satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing staff training.

Finance & Administration:

• Manage venue finances, including income, expenses, and gross profit monitoring.
• Deliver labor forecasts and ensure supplier deals are profitable.

Bar & Kitchen Management:

• Lead bar and kitchen teams, ensuring quality service and product consistency.
• Supervise staffing, supplier relations, and legal requirements (RSA, liquor licenses).

Qualification & experience

• 3+ years of hospitality experience with 2+ years in management, leading FOH and BOH operations. Local experience preferred.
• Tertiary Qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field is required.
• Proven ability to manage and train large teams (20+ staff), ensuring smooth daily operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Expertise in POS system programming and implementation, menu design, costing, and stock control.
• Experience in event planning and execution, from private functions to off-site events, ensuring successful outcomes and brand consistency.
• Strong financial management skills, including budget control, labor forecasting, and gross profit monitoring.
• Flexibility to manage multiple venues on a requirement basis.
• Excellent customer service skills with a track record of handling complaints and resolving issues promptly.
