Restaurant Manager

Public Quarter (Purple Grove Trust & Onicap Trust & Ultivite Trust, ABN 52 406 265 818) is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our work family in our Brisbane CBD venue.

We are a well-established busy restaurant in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD. We offer a flexible working week that allows our team to get the best out of each other, work and lifestyle.

We only operate Monday – Friday giving you a great work life balance which is so rare in this industry.

We work closely with our staff to help you up skill and become a great manager.

Looking for an experienced, passionate and hardworking individual who can help run the Restaurant. Must be able to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise work as well as looking after your team. We are looking for someone with a positive and enthusiastic personality.

Some duties of the role will include:

• Training staff and operating venue as required
• Monitoring productivity and providing feedback to ensure all staff are providing the best possible customer service
• Ensuring customer satisfaction
• Managing inventory levels
• Rosters and workbooks
• Liasing with chefs and updating menus
• Keeping up with demand during peak times
• Monetary duties
• Providing effective leadership and management of staff which includes conflict resolution
• Complying with Health and Safety regulations
• Opening and closing procedures

Skills and qualifications required for this role:

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality, or 3 years relevant experience
• Initiative and ability to work hard and think smart in a busy environment
• Commitment to the long-term role

Monday – Friday hours. Must be available mornings and afternoons.
