This role is suited to an experienced Pastry Cook who takes pride in preparing high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods while maintaining consistency, creativity, and high food safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and Italian-style sweets
• Decorate and present pastries and desserts to a high standard
• Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure product consistency
• Prepare doughs, fillings, creams, and other pastry components
• Maintain stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies
• Ensure all food preparation complies with hygiene and food safety standards
• Assist in developing seasonal dessert menus and new pastry items
AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3), or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
Demonstrated experience preparing pastries in a commercial kitchen environment.
