BOMBALA RSL CLUB LTD trading as Club Bombala is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to join its hospitality team in Bombala, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals, assisting with kitchen operations, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Task & responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present meals in accordance with menu and venue standards
• Assist with menu planning and development of specials
• Monitor food preparation, portioning, and presentation quality
• Maintain stock control and assist with ordering and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations
• Supervise kitchen operations during busy service periods
• Train and assist junior kitchen staff where required
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and food preparation areas

Qualification & experience

• Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or related field (AQF Certificate IV or higher, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years relevant full-time work experience as a Chef
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume hospitality environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
