The Role
McMillan Hospitality Management Trading as Harveys have an exciting opportunity for professional, full time, energetic Senior Chef to join our team of talented chefs.
We are looking for a Full Time Senior Chef who have a passion for the hospitality industry and delivering a high-level of service.
• 3+ years' experience in fine dining or hatted venues
• Experience in a busy and professional environment
• Experience in all areas of the kitchen, Larder, Patisserie, Grill and Pans in a busy and professional environment
• Good communication and attitude
• Organized with a love for well executed food
• Course completion of use hygienic practices for food safety and participate in safe food handling practices
• Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high-level product.
• Mise en place and breakdown.
• Section management.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the restaurants' concepts and menus.
• Partake in ongoing on-the-job training to improve personal and team performance
Qualification & experience
Must hold Diploma EQF Level 4 in hospitality.
Qualification as a Chef
Must have min 3 years full time experience in Australian cuisine in a professional kitchen. Also, must have HACCP certificate.
Harveys Bistro has led the way in the culinary scene in Brisbane fore over 20 years with PJ McMillan Chef owner at the reins.
