Task & responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to recipes

Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks

Maintain inventory and order supplies

Ensure food quality and presentation standards

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Collaborate with management to develop new menu items

Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues

Train new kitchen staff members

Adhere to company policies and procedures

Provide excellent customer service


Qualification & experience

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook

Culinary certification or diploma

Knowledge of food safety regulations

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and creativity in menu planning

Team player with a positive attitude

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects

Understanding of kitchen equipment and techniques
